idea for making wakeboard tower feet

using the heim joint and a solid block of aluminum i was going to thread a bolt through the heim joint to secure it

it looks pretty good to me. I wish I had the tools to make the base from a block of aluminium. I like your tower too by the way.

The clearance between the slot in the block and the heim is critical to hold the heim joint in your design, basically the mount will have to flex slightly to clamp the center of the joint....will work just watch the tolerances.
