I've been working on some fundametals to progress my later riding and one huge brick wall I've hit was the blind position. I can ride cuffed no problem but everytime I drop the leading hand my board spins out from under me and I always ass plant. Any tips that could help me??? _________________ http://www.learnwake.com/amember/go.php?r=253&i=l1 |

when u land blind of ride blind think of sticking ur butt out towards the handle...it keeps u leaning away from the boat so u don't spin out or fall backwards _________________ Smile at the hotties on the boat...Huck ur new trick...Nail it and they'll think ur Wicked..and even if u bail they can soothe u afterwards:D...

Do as brath5 said and lean away from the boat, try and show the bottom of the board to the boat. _________________

if you only lean away from the boat, you wll most likely get unwound, and even catch your heel edge. combine this lean, with looking in the direction your "tail" is pointing, and your body will be in position to resist the pull of the boat in the proper angle to keep you upright and without unwinding. _________________ Mark Kenney, 1983-2002

| are you talking about landing wrapped? if so, just practice doing bs 180s out in the flats and landing/riding wrapped for a little bit. See, the cool thing about landing wrapped is that you dont need to stay wrapped for very long. just land wrapped, then let go of the handle and catch it with your other hand asap. |
