| Really it does not matter how tall you are, its more about how much you weigh. Just check out the board specifications on some of the board companies websites and you will be able to get a better idea for your size. As far as what kind of board you need it would be beneficial to get more of a universal board for your first board, I know that some of the pro models look cool but a more all around shape will help you progress way faster than a shape you are not ready for. I recomend Liquid Force's Stance or if your really hell bent on not buying a universal then Ben Greenwood's Omega would be a good buy too. Try demoing a couple of boards from your local shop to get a feel for different boards. (Hope this helps) |

Ok man. Darin Shapiro is like 5'2 and he rides a 143 so its all personal preference even though the boards have a suggested heighth and weight limit. Its up to you. More board- more pop but less ability to spin fast Less board-less pop, more responsive, faster spinning.
O and I'm 6'1 and ride 06 CWB absolute 141. _________________ www.soswakeboard.com
