Thats not too bad man, when I was 16 I dropped $2300 into my first PC. Actually into parts to build the PC. After frying a motherboard and a harddrive I got it working... Luckily I got new MoBo And HD for free though.

If Paycom has taught us anything, it's that the price of technology goes down over time.

Since you have the recovery media, swap that slow-ass 1TB drive out for a SSD and you'll have one nice, fast computer.

a 5400RPM drive is really going to slow that machine down.

Would this be a good choice? It's a hybrid ssd from seagate.

Or a a hard drive that is both. They now have drives with small SDs for a cache, so you get the speed of an SSD for the most part, and the storage of a regular HD. Very Happy

LOVE my SSD though, worth it in every way. Cut my boot up time in half, down to 8-9 seconds. Very Happy

This is a good balance if you want space and speed.

Yeah that is a good product, probably the best choice for the average person. Full SSD will just get better battery life, create less heat, and be less susceptible to damage/loss of info. Most laptops now days are running cooler and have better batteries too though.
