I've got a few questions relating to the bindings for wakeboarding.

1. Do the bindings need to be from the same company as the board? i.e. does a LF Fish need LF bindings, or could you smack on the Krux bindngs?

2. Just how do you put the bindings on the board? Is there some kind of special tool to do this, is it done professionally at a boardshop, how does it work?

3. Assuming that you can put the bindings on yourself, how can you make adjustments in terms of width or how far out to the side your toes are pointing?

Thanks everyone

I've got a few questions relating to the bindings for wakeboarding.

1. no bindings do not have to be the same as the board...i'm riding hyperlite board with cwb bindings...it doesn't matter...u might wanna double check the holes will line up but it shouldn't be an issue

2. Depends on what kind of bindings u have...my old obriens were just lil hand turn screws with a lil plastic tip to grip. certain bindings need a scredriver but they focus on keeping things simple..the idea is if u wanna change ur setting in the boat between runs u should be able to without difficulty.

3. certain bindings have a clamp style with a plate with notches on the bottom of the boot..so u just slide it to the angle u want and clamp it down...others u use different hole on the boot and just get it to the andle u want then find the holes that line up then screw em down...and for widtch apart that's why there are so many holes in the board. i usually ride with my feet as far apart as the board will allow so i just set the outside screw to the farthest hole and then adjust for angle. usually u wanna be pretty semetrical when setting up ur bindings cause it'll help witrh the switch stance
