I am looking at a 99 Tige 21V, and was wondering where other owners are putting ballast in the front? I was also wondering if there are any inherant problems with this boat, and what everyones experience has been with them. Anyone have experience with SKI DOCK in Austin Texas?

| I have a 99 21v and haven't had any problems at all. The towers on the 99 shake some but mine does not squeak and it gives a solid pull. I put my own ballast system in with 2 side sacks on each side of the bow and 2 large sacks stuffed under the rear seat through the back hatches. The key to weighting this boat is not to over weight, they already weigh 3800. I fill the front sacks up about 75% and the rears are around 40-60% depending on # of people and the wake is big and clean.... |
