Ok ive jumped the wake once or twice but alot of the time when i go into to jump the wake i will fly forward and face plant?

Keep your shoulders centered with your feet. Sounds like you are putting to much pressure on your lead foot.

So you're flying forward as in toward the boat? Sounds like you are letting up off your edge and being pulled forward by the boat. Hold edge all the way through the wake and keep a solid body position. That might help.

When u say hold the edge u mean keep the board tilted a lil

Your edge should be strongest at the wake, so yeah it will need to be tilted and on edge all the way through the wake. most people when first learning "go flat" or let off edge right before they hit the wake which will hurt your jumps and is generally bad.

Also, just remembered this might be due to where you are holding the handle. Needs to be close to your waist at your hips. If the handle gets too high like your chest/shoulder area on a jump you will have a bad position and likely get pulled forward. Check the sticky thread for beginners should have some good tips on edging and jumping etc that might help you further. Good luck!
