Not that any of you will really care, but I'm pretty stoked that I'm getting a tramp. I made a deal with ma and pa that if I can level part of that bessy of a yard and pay for the tramp, it's a go. I'm gonna make a tramp board (old skate deck, duct tape, and shoes) and fix the stretchy rope to something, so maybe it would make me a little less of a Taco Bell Chalupa on the water Laughing .

BTW the tramp is a 14 footer from Wal Mart... HELL YEAH.. $250 Very Happy

Oh yeah. I figured since our back yard is pretty sloped, that if I dig in to level it out, the grass on one side will come up fairly level with the tramp and the path along the side will be almost level, a HUGE tree is on one side and a fence is on the other Very Happy If that's not safe, I don't know what is Razz Rolling Eyes

15' foot round Jump King from Sams Club - two or three years ago.. $175...

Check your options before you pull the trigger.

Nice, I got the same one.

Had it for a year and has been a great investment. Not only does it help your wakeboarding but it's fun and it's a good workout.

haha. it is. my buddy told me i wouldnt get in better shape by "playing" on the tramp. however, after 30 minutes of straight jumping im sweating like a mofo, and out of breath, and my heart rate is up there. i know its a good cardio workout. and i can already tell its working, i can jump twice as long without getting winded compared to when i first got it a couple months ago.

don't really have to make a tramp board, i just use my wakeboard, the only problem is sometimes if you wipe hard the edges can cut the tramp a little bit but i havn't had any real problems with it. of course i guess if you ride with fins than you wouldn't be able to use it on the tramp

QNev, im stoked for you!! i just finished setting mine up, net and rope in all last sunday. you should get a big person to jump on it right away and stretch the springs a bit so that you can jump higher.

isn't bouncing on a tramp with something with too much surface area bad for the trampoline? and is that not the reason why they make foam trampoline boards which conform to the dip? just wondering. QNev, have fun with that trampoline.

wakejumper17, that would be the tramp equivalent to a double up right Wink

A wakeboard isn't a good idea for those things hah... It could kill the tips and the net.

This thing is going to be a bitch to get down there. I have to go 3 feet down in part of the backyard, and 16 feet wide and 15 out Sad It could be a while before we get it in there.. hahah...

Good luck with the digging. I like a wake skate on the tramp imo.
