I wish there was a way to pull exif data off of these pictures.....

(edit) there is exifdata.com and insert the picture. for some reason scotta's first color digital is not producing much... Confused

Lop, if you use FF, I highly recommend the FxIF plugin.

Scott, what ISO is the film?

It's 400 ASA (Ilford HP5).

I think they might have tried to brighten a few of the shots when they scanned them and put them onto a CD for me, hence the noticeable grain in the second shot. This happened on a roll of Ilford Delta as well, so if I ever have them do my film again I'm gonna talk to them about what's going on (just in case it's not the scan job). Of course, I did order the cheapest option for scans so maybe they just threw the machine on autopilot and that's what it spat out. Anyone have experience with this? Getting film developed is still a bit new to me...

Zach M,Awesome shot, is that digital or film? Almost has a grainy film appearance.

Digital. Shot on a 30D at 1600 ISO for 30 seconds.

they probably send it out to a lab, most photo developing stores these days send regular b&w film out to be processed by another contractor. you should learn to do it yourself, for the exact reason you stated... doing it yourself will allow you to have control over the development as well, and you can develop each individual roll as needed.

oh, and it's super easy to learn how to do....at least for standard b&w film.

Yeah...with b/w film I'm used to doing it all on my own. That's why I was curious if anyone had experience getting digi files on a cd that looked like that second shot that I posted.

And the shop that I go to is pretty big and does the b/w stuff in-house.

intotheflats, so far I love it. it takes some getting used to the aperature rings but it is a pretty cool lens. I am going to get the macro and wide angle soon. I didn't want to buy them if I hated the lens. Oh and if you get one you may have to make adjustments to your camera for it so check the manual first.

Dpierce it's a 3/4 size bike, that I built to hold over my son's head for a couple years http://www.kikker5150.com/hardknock.html

If you want something a little bigger check these gusy out. I may be building one of their wide tire bikes this winter.
