| So i am wanting to add a top for our boat . It is an 06 Bayliner 175xt , and it has the tower on it . The dealership wanted $400 for there top , but i figured i could put one together that would mount to the tower , and fold up and strap to the tower when not in use . Any ideas what and where to look ? |

I think you'll find that's a really fair price, custom will cost a lot more than that. For towers and bimini's they normally don't go very well together so I don't think you find a better option. _________________ Founder of Monster Tower Wakeboard Towers

| I made my own Bimini top for my Glastron SX175. Manufactured it out of tubular aluminimum and bought all the brackets from an online shop in the US. Managed to get some waterproof material off EBAY and stiched the thing together. I think it cost about £60 to make. |

Try taking some measurements on your tower and where you would like to mount the top and see if there is a marina that sells the Attwood style universal tops. they have a 3 bow system that you mount 2 points and then you have 2 straps in the front and 2 in the back to ancor it. They come in different widths so you may be able to find one that falls in the range of your tower. You have to buy the bow and the top separately. My local marina had them on sale last year in a flyer and it would have been $200 or so for my friends CC. _________________
