| Someone made one for a tower, and posted a bunch of pics a while ago. You should be able to find it by using the search.

Steve-
I made one out of UHMW polyethylene similar to the Skylon design. The hardest part is attaching it to the pole. I used angle aluminum. I will try to upload some pics soon.

Here are some pics of the board rack I made. Like I said earlier, it is made from a sheet of UHMW poly. Works well. Materials and all was under $80

I saw someone on lake travis Friday night with a homemade pylon. It was wood planks in cement with some rachets holding it down. Looked very.... interesting. they were riding out by the Grape and vineyard bay.
