WHY IS THIS HAPPENING??

When i turn my radio up in my boat past a certain volume my entire systems turns itself off, and then back on again. someone told me that it was a surge protector on my amp but i dont think my tower speakers have that much wattage. If someone could help me out, it would be great.

try making sure your amp(s) are properly grounded .. i had this problem in my truck .. all i needed to do was turn the screw that grounded my amp a little tighter and voila. If that isn't the case it may be a surge protection feature in the deck or even amp maybe .. GoodLuck Glasses

Please describe your setup.
Where is the deck/amp getting its power from (battery power)?
dids you wire it up yourself or tap into existing wires?
