skrizz, that's a pretty cool profile pic. As for the Indy Tantrum, although I can't do these, I'm pretty sure the rule is to grab, then initiate the rotation/flip.

if you have excess to a trampoline, take the fins off your board and tie a rope to a tree and practice, that should help

Yes you are right Nathan, go for the grab right off the wake... the longer you wait to grab, the farther the boar gets away from you... good luck.

I am having a hard time on these also, so let me get this right, you want to grab as soon as you can off the wake? Dont wait to grab? I think thats what I got out of it.

per Mike Mclin..

"To grab indy, you have to do a few things. First, be very comfortable with the indy grab. Just do wake jumps and grab indy. Once you are very comfortable with the location of the grab, you are ready to try indy tantrums. Really make sure you jump straight up, and not out, when you take off for the tantrum. If you jump back you are pulling your upper body (and arms) away from the board, not allowing you to grab it. So jump up and your upper body will not be so far away from your board.

Another reason you jump up is due to the fact that when you get the grab, your knees will be bent, which will make you flip faster. So you don't need to flip that much because the tuck of your body will make you flip more than usual. Also make sure to bend your knees. If you haven't grabbed the board and you are at the halfway point of your trick, then you aren't going to grab it. You have to grab early. "

What BRAD said.....

The first thing you should do after the grab is try to spot your landing.

Jim makes a good point----- all bunched up you spin around faster so you should be able to spot your landing that much earlier. just stick with it, it will come.

This is one of my best tricks. I take a raley cut at it and edge all the way off the top and switch edges really hard. I'm in allittle bit of a seated position the whole time and when i switch edges i stand tall at the last second kicking off with my legs bringing them to my chest. you can hold the grab for a very long time, almost till you hit the water. Just take it big and commit to it.
