I have the stock head unit and system in my Yukon.

I have Sirius in my boat w/ free subscription and Sirius at my house through Dish Network.

Is this what I need for my vehicle to get Sirius in my car?

NAW - Depends on what kind of receiver you have in your boat. Is the Sirius receiver in your boat a plug-n-play model like the one in the link? If so, you can use it in your car if you have a satellite antenna and power source for the unit in/on your vehicle.

If you are planning on getting a separate unit for your car, you will have to activate and pay for that unit. That is, one Sirius subsciption doesn't cover mulitple receivers.

Gotcha.

The one in my boat isn't the plug and play. It's got the antenna, receiver and Sirius ready head unit in the boat, all installed.

So, I'd have to buy a plug and play and pay for another subscription?

That's right. However, the nice thing about that is if you get a plug and play for your vehicle, you should be able to use it in the boat once the free subscription runs out (provided you can hook the satellite antenna on the boat into the plug/play unit).

Great, thanks for the info.

I'd assume I can plug the antenna in to the plug and play, but I'll double check.

Or for $6 a month you can add an additional receiver.
