| Hey, I think I rode on a mastercraft like yours. It had a fat seat in the back, two smaller 300? lbs on the sides, around the motor, and another one in the front. It kicked some nice wake, you couldn't walk freely, had to walk on the sacs, but well worth it... I think that's the same kind of boat. |

Check back on your post in General. To sum it up, you want 60:40 distribution of weigt (rear:front) and don't add too much weight of it will be too hard on the engine.
Welcome to the site man, but be sure to search for topics like yours.

Screw fat sacks. Take up too much room, and too expensive. Just do what I do. Take a whole bunch of people. My boat fits 16, and we usually have b/w 10-18 people go w/ us. We also take a ton of food/ice chests, random crap, and it makes our wake pretty monsterous. _________________ "What? When did the ballast break? Where's some fat chicks when you need them?" |

On my 2000 prostar 195, same boat w/ open bow;
250lbs sac either side of motor, forward as possible.
275lbs under seat in back.
Couple people and gear, cooler goes in front.
With this the wake is decent but not real big, well shaped.
If you out more weight in the rear you'll need something up front to try for the 60/40 weight distribution. |

| They make spoilers for towers that make the wind pushed down on the boat to throw a bigger wake,,,,they look dumb as hell tho,,,and im not certain how much bigger the wake would be |

| trim tabs wouldnt make you wake any bigger it would only make it smaller. the idea behind a wakeplate or "trim tabs for a fishing boat" are when lowered it forces the bow of the boat down creating a more mellow wake, when all the way up though they will have no effect on the boat as it is the same as if the hull is by itself. |

hey
i own the exact same boat as u and my wake is massive, wut we do is we fill up a cooler withwater form wherever were riding and it adds about 200 or more pounds for a sick wake, but u have to take out the couch in the back to do that _________________ Ennsy |
