hook a rope up to a wheel with no tire on it...hook it up to your car/truck, jack up your car/truck...voila! Free winch.

| I've seen that video! It works pretty good, but you have to either carry a spare "rim" with you or a spare "broken down car"..... |

Natman, under a thousand no way you can barely buy all the parts to build one for under 700 dollars( an belive me that WONT be high speed). . . .forget about high speed for under 2000 dollars the only true High speed winches I know of are Neverrides and mine(PirateWinch) neither of which are under 2000
