I went to my local boat shop today to pick up a new video, and there it was sitting in the parking lot. I just arrived this morning, and still needs to have a lot of things installed in it before it is ready for the water. Dealer says it is fully loaded....and the price tag comes in at a mere $70,000! sorry about the size of the pictures....I shrunk the pictures down and readded them and the poll got deleted, and I could not fix it to make it look good. sorry

Now it looks like MC stole the billet insert idea from Malibu. Where is that Malibu-styled boss tower knockoff that they put on those things?

Hey they didn't steal the ballast from Calabria, they paid to use it and I did see a fishing boat that looked a lot like it.

Hey, Is that at Midwest WAtersports? I never thought they'd get a 03 for stock. I'll have to drive down there and take a look for myself.

It is at Midwest Watersports (Now Midwest Mastercraft). The boat is already sold so it is not for stock, but I could not resist taking a pic for myself.

The prototype MC X-Star tower was around quite a while before the Boss Billet tower. Boss just beat MC to production.

It looks like a deck boat.
My favorite part is that it has all this funky techno goo-gaw stuff on it, and then I swear it has the same windshield as a '81 Bayliner. I can't stop looking at the contrast between the modern and the tired old components.
I will give them credit for trying something different on a ski/wakeboard boat, but they just ended up with a very expensive v-drive deck boat in the end.

I was in the boat for the Orlando Tour Stop and the wake is very similiar to the X30. I little wider than the avg. with the sweet spot back around 75' from transom. It seemed to loose track in the tight turn-arounds. The interior was very plush with thick padding!

| looks nice, but i would never pay that much for a ski boat. the markup in them kills me, i have a freind that works for supra and she said when they leave the factory they are around 15K but by the time the dealer gets them their over 30K fully loaded. When i bought my Mobius LSV, i played three dealerships against each other on price and finally got a fully loaded new one down to $23,000 from $36,000 to start

70K is vomit material. I would rather get something a little (lot) more cheaper. The interior is nice and roomy. I also like the way the deck star does the gauges and ballast.

I love the new tower on them. It's got to be big bucks. I saw it in "early marketing blurbs" about a year ago. The racks for them look like a fighter aircraft weapon system - way sick.
Love to know what the cost of the towers and racks are for the new X-Star ?
Bill

I talked to the Mastercraft guys at our boat show and the cost of just ONE board rack is between $650 - $800.

that is what we did...i wanted those board racks, but Perfect pass is a much better option for the boat.

| The thing I don't get is that they put the cooler in the front. Can you imagine what your beers would be like in ruff water! I can think of a lot more things that I would spend $70k for(x2 and a nice tow vehicle).

| The board racks are pretty sweet. Other than that I can't say much about it. The ladder off the front is the supidest thing ever. The dash and gauges do not appeal to me at all. It does look pretty sharp, but for the price, nay.

| they have a ladder of the front? thats pretty stupid. i really like the racks but it looks like the stole the idea from some other company. I remember seeing an ad for it. it said something like "i've seen the future of board racks and there are no straps" and there was a funky looking rack. MC got their racks produced first tho and they look a lot better.
