Bazooka tower speakers

FYI. Was just on Bazookas website & saw they are now making tower speakers (out this spring ). They look really sharp & will retail for $300 for the 6.5 coax speakers. They'll also have 8" version for about $400. Should kick butt!

My old wake designs tubbies had bazooka speakers in them and they sucked.

Last year was their first full year of producing the "tubbies"
Kmag bought some I am waitting to see how they sound.

I have them. My boat has been in the shop for 2 friggin months now, so I haven't put them on yet. I should be getting it back in a few days, so I should have them on by next weekend...unless I can't figure out a way to mount them on the Illusion X tower. BTW...My bud has them on his 02' Four Winns, and they were pretty damn loud. And you can find them on the web for about $150 for the 8" type. Right Itch?!? Very Happy

kmagnuss, How many watts did your friend have running to the tubbies? I'm pulling my boat out of storage in late April, let me know how yours sound because I'm thinkin about getting a set. Also, I found them on ebay for $220 shipped. Let me konw if you find them cheaper anywhere else.

As far as the wattage goes, I can't remember for the life of me. Just remember that wattage is a gray area...1000 watts from a generic amp sounds the same as 75 watts from a quality amp.

Thanks man, I'm looking for the white ones to match my boat but I found the white ones from a link on that sale that was $15 less than what I found before.
