We have a small fleet at our lake. (Its big...44 miles) Pretty cool idea but I mean lakes are water, water puts out fire...why do you need them?

our lake is only 17 miles at the longest 5,420 acres of water, we have 2 fire companys in our town one is public and one is private that is volunteer that reports to all town fires also they have the nicer equipment, but they have 2 fire boats on the lake and no other town has 1 and theirs 5 other towns and we have the least amount of land on it and yeah....

uhh, b/c gas is less dense than water, and therefore gas stays on the surface, and gas is quite flammable. If you let a small bow fire run into the engine compartment and then the gas tank, you will have a small explosion on your vessell--not good. They also double as just regular rescue boats... pretty cool IMO...

Beaver, Can you get up close to those Martins? Being the airplane geek I am, I knew you rode at Sprout Lake before I looked at your profile.
