|
|
I got some new LF sphynx's last July. One of the stitchings that holds the drawsting to the sides (the loops the shoe lace goes through in simple terms) is torn out. I have competely been an idiot and forgot to send them back to repair.
My concern is down time. How long do you think it would take for me to send these back? Do they repair or replace? If it's replace then the turnaround should be fast. But repair has me worried I won't see these again till mid summer. I can ride with it like that, it still tightens up, but the fact is, I only got one month of riding on it really, and it broke. So it should be fixed.
So again I am weighing the cost of down time versus a permanent blown stitch.
I got it from one of the reputable online places we all talk about on here. |

I bought my LF Transits from Buywake and noticed a stitching defect within a couple of days. All I had to do was email them (buywake) a picture of it and they forwarded it to Liquid Force. About 2 weeks later A brand new pair of overlays showed up at my door. I didn't have to send them back and I continued using them. I haven't even put them on because the defect does not effect the performance. Now I have a backup pair of overlays.
Where do get them? |

Yea, warranty has ya covered. If you got them from a local shop, they may even hook you up with a pair the same day. I really doubt they'll "repair" them, pretty sure they send you a new pair. _________________ '05 Supra Launch 24SSV |

Are these the standard sphynx? The all white? I heard they had a lot of defects in those which is sad because I love the style. I'm not a fan of the LEs.
Were they able to fix them or did they send out LEs? I'd love to get a pair this year if they could be fixed. They should be cheap based on their reputation. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

Actually I had the LE version and my stitching ripped also. Just got mine back. But I don't think they have an LE version this year. They gave me the regular version. That sucks because they are to wide for my foot!! The LE's were a little more snug for a narrow foot. _________________ My therapist says it is all your fault. |

| the rubber thingy across the back of my 05 sphynx's ripped all the way through last season, and i finally got around to sending them in a couple weeks ago. I do live in seattle, so i'm only an hour from their factory, but it still seemed amazing when i got a returned package on my front door the next day. they're cool about warranty, just make sure to call LF and make sure they give you an RA number. |

The last thing you want to do is blow the stitching on your sphincter. _________________ Niiiiiiiiice |
