| They are similar to the NVS Entity 1010's. I'll be pushing them with a fosgate 851x bridged to 425 watts rms. I haven't been able to turn them loose yet because I don't want to piss off the neighbors, but I'm pretty impressed so far. I turned the gain all the way down on the amp and it was sill loud and clear at about 3/4 volume on my deck. |

| looks good ,, but i have to ask why would u bridge a full range box ? You will not get stereo sound that way ! Also , is the enclosure MDF ? cause it will crumble with any moisture .. Anyways , goodluck |

jrhurst, I realize I'm not getting stereo sound but I don't think you will notice it at 75' back. Plus I already had the amp and the 10's are 8ohm so I needed to wire them in parallel to get it down to 4ohm's and take advantage of the power I had. Not bridging the amp would only produce 110rms watts per channel at 4ohms and I would assume about 1/2 of that at 8ohms. The 10's can handle 350 watts each.
It is MDF, but I coated it with a sealer and then about 4-5 coats of paint. This is what I did with my 4 6x9 box and I never had any problems. I will only have it on the tower when I'm out in the boat and if it rains I can just take them down or cover them.
acurtis, I coated the 10's with "The Wet Look" speaker coating from www.parts-express.com. |
