here are my kicker plans. Tell me what you think. Is it braced strongly enough? It will be made out of 2x4s. The surface of the ramp is exactly 4x8 I am going to put a 1/2" piece of plywood on it and then cover it with a piece of bathboard. I don't plan on putting any sides on it is that ok?

Thanks,
Jack

sktw8, whatever program you're using, you can probably export to JPG or some other format, which you can open in paint to convert Razz If all else fails, take a screenshot (CTRL + PRNT SCRN)

Also I have 2x4s going under the ramp surface across from each vertical 2x4 support.

sktw8, looks real nice but Id be sure to fill the 55 gal drums about halfway with water or else it might tip over forwards when you hit it.

I would add more 2x4 bracing under the top sheet. either that or add another 1/2" or 3/4" sheet under your original 4x8' sheet to give it more support. You will probably put a hole in that the way it sits.

Nothing worse than going through your kicker. Construction should be similar to a skateboard kicker or ramp with 2x4 bracing underneath the top sheet, which I usually double layer. I normally use 2x2 bracing with skate ramps but 2x4 would be a better idea.
