| In a Boat the Battery is the best place. Make sure the power and ground are the same gauge wire. |

| By battery ground ON the battery, do you mean the negative or an actuall ground attached to the battery on the side of it somewhere? |

| obviously, the battery has a negative terminal but the battery is ground to the engine block. my pcm is ground to a bolt on the front of the engine, behind the alternator. from memory, i think it shares a water pump bolt. |
