Has anyone ever been to or wakeboarded on Lake Ouachita in Arkansas. Me and a few friends are thinking of going at the end of May and were looking for suggestions as to where to stay. We were also wondering what there was to do besides be out on the lake all day? Thanks

I was curious about the same thing. We're in Nashville and have friends in Houston. I thought it might be a nice place to meet and rent a houseboat. We'd also pull the 22v down there for a few days of riding and hanging out.

Hey guys. Lake Ouachita is about an hour from me. However, I don't get there very much with all of the great lakes in our area. I normally hit lake Catherine (5 minutes from me) or lake Degray (25 mins from me). Lake Ouachita is a huge beautiful nice like. Sometimes it can be hard to find good water though. If you don't mind driving some, good water can be found though. Just make sure the lake level is normal. I hear more horror stories from peole ruining props, shafts, struts, outdrives, and even fins on that lake.

Hot Springs is only about 20 minutes away so there is plenty to do (historic hot springs, mall, shops, movies, food, etc).

PM me if you guys need any more info. Let me know when you guys come up. Maybe we an meet up and I'll take you out on lake Catherine. Its a small lake with not much camping but butter all of the time.
