getting pop off the wake.....

i have only been boarding a few times and i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to maximize my jumping. i just need some technique advice to take with me to the lake.

the biggest thing is to edge all the way through the wake. Don't come off edge and try to jump. Edge all the way to the top of the wake and just stiffen your legs at the top of the wake but keep you edge. When you actually do it right the first time you will know it, trust me.

i was in the same thing, i couldnt figure it out until i watched a video of myself and realized my knees were barely bending, so make sure youre doin that. otherwise intotheflats, pretty much nailed it

how much air should i expect to get doing it the right way (estimation)? i have done it right once, my first day, i just dont remember how. i didnt notice how high i was, probably because i was scared s#$@less. needless to say it ended with me crawling my arse back into the boat and grabbin a cold one.
