Man, they need to market that switchblade better. Until I talked to somebody that saw one at a boat show, I thought it was just a wedge rip-off.

I love the switchblade. I got to drive one in December down in Orlando. I thought it handled very well with the blade. It freely turns on a pivot so it follows the rudder, not fights it. It also has a very cool auto feature so you just set it and forget it. The only ill handling effects come when you are slow speed manuvering like at or around the dock. Once you get a feel for how it behaves, it becomes second nature.
The boats that pulled boardstock all had the blade on them and you could actually adjust the wake on the fly for the surfers. Some of the skimboard style riders liked the wake a little less steep and the surf style riders wanted it as big as possible.
We had 4 people in the boat and empty ballast tanks and with the blade you could surf behind it!
The 06 enzo's are improved over previous versions with more air flow to the engine compartment and a 2 year motor warranty vs. 1 one the previous models. New tower options are hot too.

| I guess they renamed it from the Z1000 or something like that...I've driven and ridden behind an enzo with the device...it is pretty sweet...ridehyperlite, hit the high points...you set it when PP is active, then when you pick up a rider it returns to neutral to help get back on plane...then once PP kicks back on it goes back to the previous position. It also helps you turn in reverse, you just have to bump forward to get it to the side you want it. I'd say that it performs like having 1k of ballast in the rear, it increased the size and shape of the wake well. I didn't ride with the ballast filled, but we still had 1/2 the travel left so you could adjust it when you did have ballast in it. Great quality and from an engineering perspective it is well designed (I'm a mechanical engineer).

Check out this sick custom Enzo that Centurion presented Supercross Star Chad Reed with at the LA boat show about a week or so ago. N-Style made some interior panels and it has a 2600 watt stereo system.

Two post with empty ballast. Something wrong with the pumps in these boats? Why would you not have the ballast filled?

The company that makes the blade is located about twenty miles from my house. I rode behind a prototype and the designer wanted opinions on how well the blade worked (we weren't demoing the boat). We only had limited time (early in the season and couldn't take a second set). I would have loved to fill up the tanks (or sacks don't know which one it had) to see what potential was there. With the blade alone it created a wake that would be fun for an average rider (it was bigger than my 93 SN with 1800lbs)...add ballast and I would assume that the wake would be on par with sacked out (fill in the blank with your favorite boat).

We started with the tanks empty to get a feel of what the blade alone is capable of. Yes we did fill the tanks as well. I would say the wake was just as large as a boat with a 1000 pounds of ballast as well as the factory tanks.

STJ, I think you should definitely check this boat out and compare with other 23 footers in its class. It will certainly hold its own against a 23' Wakesetter LSV, X-30, or Mobius XLV, all about the same size. A fully loaded Enzo will cost you around $60k, which is thousands cheaper than Malibu or MC not fully loaded. Test drive and ride all four and I think you'll come away pretty impressed by the Enzo and its awesome styling.
Cameraboy, lets call Centurion and see if they want to make us Ad- execs. I agree, they have the worst marketing people, and its not a lack of money, this is the 3rd best selling towboat company behind Malibu and MC. I have some awesome ideas too! But maybe thats why they can sell their boats cheaper, less overhead.

You non believers better do some homework, Centurion was less than 100 boats behind the "other big 3" last quarter, and as of this posting they should be solidly in 3rd place and gunning for #1, which they consider thier only competition.

Where might I find this homework?
I think it's great that you're stoked on the boat you have, or sell..I am too. But, it'd be cool for you to back this up with some legit sources.

| I only saw these figures for 2004 in an NMMA sales book from my dealer. And I just briefly saw the numbers so I can only say that Malibu was way ahead in units sold. Then MC, Centurion and Moomba closer together in that order. My dealer sells Centurion and Correct Craft so he wasn't b.s.'ing. I was surprised by Correct Craft being 5th on the list. But none of this really matters, when you consider Hyundai sells more cars than BMW and Mercedes Benz together. Doesn't mean anything except to the companies and dealers I guess. By the way, the 2005 book hasn't come out yet, but for NMMA members, you can have one for $250 bills. $400 for non-members!

| Alright! Alright! Who cares about sales, I only stated that fact because Centurion should make enough money to at least have their website going. The fact that STJ has to come to this website to look at some Enzo's is pathetic. By the way STJ, I love my Avalanche and I hope you get that Enzo and post some pics too! Sorry I don't have any pics of mine, but i'll get some this summer.

andrewt... Actually I was told that It's all of these company's sales. Not just Canada.
Doesn't really matter though. The Enzo is one bad a$$ looking machine.
