i just bought boombox and would have to honestly say i do not care for the tunes but the riding is sick!

i mean the tunes woul dbe good to mellow out and watch some boarding but not to get "pumped " i guess... so i poped a cd into the system and played a burnt cd of mine and muted the video's music works great problem solved..

did anybody like the music in boombox? or did i just no appreciate it?

I really didn't like the tunes at first, in fact, I gave the free soundtrack that came with it to one of my pals. Then the music grew on me and I wish I had the CD back. I think it's an aquired taste.

I loved the music. It was so mellow and just flowed with the riding so well IMO.

keep watching boombox. it gets better and better every time. the way justin stephens edited is sick. the more you watch the more you will notice and like. the music is edited perfectly with the riding. bass hits at take-off and landing. cutting frames back and forth in rapid succession to match the music. it's sick, sick, sick. one of the coolest and most innovative wake films out there.

you cant watch boombox with the intention of getting pumped. in my opinion it is more of a smooth flowing video and the music matches the style of editing perfectly. you have to watch it for what it is and take it all in, not just mute the audio and play your own music because it just wont be the same.

boombox is the best dvd i have ever seen. period. i cant wait justin stephens releases his next dvds.

I think Boombox is truly a work of art. As a film student, I aspire to make my wakeboarding movies of equal or greater quality then Justin Stephens. Great riding, a wide variety of shots including some from a helicopter, cool music, some footage shot on 16 mm film. I totally agree with you ScottA. Took the words right out of my mouth.

Rusion-What team video?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Justin Stephens is a genius. That film is edited so well... Just like Premier135Chick, thats the standard I one day want to make my movies at.

The music is awesome in it, something different for a change. I'm sick of hearing the same Swollen Members music in every video.

If you mute the audio, the experience is just not the same. It's not even a quater the film it could be if you take the soundtrack away...

Not only is Justin Stephens a genius, but he is a way cool guy. I took a shot in the dark and emailed Justin asking him how he got started shooting videos. He actually emailed me back and answered all the questions I asked in detail. Someone who is willing to help others up and coming and has not lost touch with us little people. I can't wait for Metronme to come out in June!!

I liked it, but I'd prefer something a little "harder." NO... Do NOT take that in a perverted way either!!

Bombox is one of my fav DVD's. The editing is by far the best I have seen & I really like the tunes, def. grows on you like others has said.

Shafted is cool, it has the baddest wipeout I have ever seen, parks going face first into the double up, looks real nasty.
