| I am a supra owner (06 24 ssv) and i really dont like the supra website. I would think the number 1 reason somone would go to a website to is to be informed about the product. They dont exactly do a great job with that. They show a couple pics the length and what the boat weighs. Not that helpfu. Also if u look at the 24 ssv (not the gg) and those graphics i dont think is doing the boat a service. So i was just wandering what you guys think. I site that i thought has done a good job is malibu. Not trying to dis anybody if they have those graphics on their boat |

It may look like it but im not trying to completely diss supra. They have a very creative site, but i think they could use a little more info. Just wanderin if anyone else noticed this |

Yep, there was a lot of discussion on that previous thread. I thought there was some good ideas mentioned there, but apparently nothing was taken to heart. I still haven't seen any changes to the website.
I can't help but feel that the entire layout of the website has an advertising company behind it. I think they are trying to advertise the lifestyle more so than the boats. I saw a Supra ad in last month's WBM and it all made sense. The ad wasn't any different from the layout of Supra's website. It was just a bunch of random pics that really didn't show much of the boats. You might get a shot of half of the boat or something, but nothing that would really capture a buyer's interest. In fact, the ad had more pictures of people snowboarding and doing other crap than it did of the boat or wakeboarding.
Wait a minute..... I have the mag right here..... Here are the pics:
Emily Copeland, 4 boat related pics....two are on the platform, one's a close up, and the other is of her riding. The rest of the pics:
A pic of fruit?
A pic of a Emily shopping (head is cropped out)?
Two pics of snowboarding.
A pic of paintball?
A pic of motorcross.
A pic of cookies and milk?
A pic of a quitar neck?
Two pics of ocean surfing.
Yeah.... that's what I want to see when I'm boat shopping. Then I go to the website and get chopped up pics of the boat. And no, that won't peak my curiosity and make me want to go to a dealer to see the boats in person. All that does is piss me off. Might as well hang a bunch of sheets from the ceiling at the boat show and cover up 75% of the boats. If they did it wouldn't be any different from their advertising campaign. _________________ "I'm not a professional wakeboarder, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn last night". |

I think almost all of the inboard boat builders sites blow massive chunks. I have a Supra as well and their site doesn't offer much of anything other than the basics. Sanger's website is just sad. They don't even have so much as a dealer locater that I could find.
What's so hard about the build a boat feature that car manufacturer sites have to help you get an idea for what you're looking to pay for a new ride? Is it because they just have to get you into the showroom? Prices drastically different depending on region? I haven't a clue, but it's super frustrating.
I'm in the market for a new boat and know what base msrps are for the models I'm considering, but that doesn't help at all. I'm just going to go into the three dealers that sell each model I'm eyeing and giving them a list of options I want. Whoever gives me the best price gets the sale. It's ridiculous that I can't find out that type of information myself. |

i thought the same thing when we started looking at supras. i couldnt find everything i wanted to know about it on their website. i wouldnt base everything off of a website though.
we looked, test drove then bought. their website has nothing to do with the design of their boats _________________ 06 Supra 24ssv Gravity Games

| i agree sanger needs to do something about their site. i'll admit, when i was boat shopping, i was put off by their site. you can't help but look at it and say "i'm supposed to buy a $40k boat from a company that looks to be manned by 3 people?" maybe they're trying to scare potential buyers off because they can't keep up with demand for their quality boats. who knows |

| I actually have seen worse than the Sanger site. At least it isnt Web-based brochure-ware. |
