I am in the process of putting in a ballast system, I got some extra sacs and extra pumps. But my problem is that I didn't get enough of those blue fiitings that go into the ballast bags. Anyone know where I could get some online, or perhaps locally, maybe a waterbed store? My local dealers idea fell through and I am kinda stranded with wakeboarding season quickly approaching!

Thanks for any help.

I picked some up at a waterbed store. I looked everywhere for them online but couldn't find them.

DUDE talk to STAN TANNER on the site he just tricked his ride out w/ some custom fitting that don't have the same problems the water bed fittings do.

What problems do the waterbed fittings have? I was not aware that there were any problems with them.

I guess that depends on how you have every thing hooked up...then you may incounter the probs we have...Those fitting disconnect if you leave them plumbed in all the time, which is how TANNER has his boat. Flip a switch...boat full, flip it again ...boat empty....the sac a allways in and we sit on them...The fitting s loosen up because the thread on the sac is so spaced out and the sac end of the fitten is so flexible....Tanner used his noddle a and has them hooked up to some garden hose qiuck disconnects....snap on - snap off no leaky leaky... he did a great job plumbing in his boat..

Heres a quick way to do it without the blue fittings. I have it this way on my boat. Go to Lowes and get 3/4 " Brass female hose fittings, one for each pump you are using. Get a couple of feet of 1" OD re-inforced hose, get 1 1/4" worm clamps for however many holes you are using. If you have pump already plumbed into thru hull fitting, then just stick the hose into the fill end and clamp (you may have to use binding lube). For empty side put about 12-18" of hose into bag, put the brass female end onto the pump, push the fitting into the hose , then slide hose into spout and clamp. I have pictures of this in my picture gallery on www.malibuboatowners.com This is a secure way to connect.
