I got an 05 HL state board and 05 HL 3ds bindings.I havent got to use them yet.

I decided to go with the CWB 06 Transcend Plat, and 06 Zues bindings. CWB stepped it up this year with the hinge tech bindings, and I couldnt justify getting another Absolute Plat when I already have an 04 and 05.

all i know is ive already got my watson bindings ordered who knows when they are gonna be shipped though. but on the other hand hyperlite has really upped their game with their bindings their new linnings are sick and il deffinately look at em in the future. and im wantin to try the ps3 out and see how i like it but thats the board im leanin towards.

Was going to go the Watson route until I saw the Zeus.
Board.. Love the look of the Watson. The gloss/matte look is bad as hell. Leaning towards it.

I've been riding the Absolute for three years now and have not yet found a better board for my style. The new Zeus' are incredible. I am so stoked on my setup. I've been riding a fair amount but can't wait for spring.

getting new bindings. dont know what kind or company probably hyperlite or cwb tho. im super happy with my 05 abs plat but the new watson looks sick. i also got a new lg handle and will probably get some new line.

Yeah, I didn't have a Platinum last year. I did notice a subtle change in the board shape though. The rails are thinner and the hook a little more pronounced. I love my new deck.

Stephan, thats cool then. I just couldnt request another board, that wasnt much different then what I had for the last 2 years. The board will grow on you more and more. What is your take on the Zues'? I think they are sick, but it is so different when putting them on in the water. Laughing

I also have Marius that I break out when I want a different feel. The Zeus is tight. I love them, I leave them a bit loose so I can tweak a little.

This thread has 29 posts so far and it is clear everyone wants LF or CWB. I made a quick count of what board and binding brands we mentioned having or will be getting.

So far it goes like this:

LF Board: 13
Bindings: 10

CWB: Board: 5
Bindings: 7

Hyperlite: Board: 3

I am going to demo the CWB Marius and Absolute next week.

Demoing the 06 Zeus this weekend, since I finally got my money back for my 05 Byerly's yesterday. Will probably borrow a friend's Torq's to see how they feel as well. These are the only boots I'm considering, but I might demo the closed-toe Hypers just to see what they feel like. However, I won't be buying them no matter what after the shenanigans I had to deal with regarding my Byerlys.
