You would probably be best by checking with the city government of your area, or the department of natural resources (or similar, as I see you are in the U.K., correct?)
Chances are... it is illegal, because a boat could hit it.. or even worse a boat hit it at night.
Probably the best bet would be if you know someone that lives on the lake, have them store it on their shoreline, and drag it out to the lake as needed. Even that is most likely illegal. _________________ Be an organ donor! My father is alive today because of kind souls that donate life... |

i live in Ontario, but i live on a canal, so i could just drag it out, but i dont want to drag it back and forth each time, so maybe i could drag it off in a bush somwere near bye, on the shore. _________________ Anthony. C |

anth we found a good place on the river that would be perfect. we can put it way off to the side, its no where near the markers and its pretty shallow which will make it easier to pull on and off the shore.. if that is what we'll end up doing _________________ You Want Sookie LOng Time |

i am wondering about this too. i wanna build a floating rail and leave it not in the middle but near the shores. is that illegal, even if there are no houses on the shore? |

anth i thought we wer posting the rail in the water, i dont think anyone will say anything and to be safe we could just throw a flashing little light on it like the ones from halloween, the kick we should post to because i dont like the idea of leaving it off in the bush for some animal to make a nest in or those mexicans to rip apart. |
