I have a Maxum, and I have a 500# sac as well. Where can I put the sac, and how many more should I get? I'm trying to get the biggest wake I can with it. Any help would be surely appreciated. Thanks

| I had a maxum last year. The best way to weigh it is to put 2 250lb sacks (one on each side) next to the engine block. Put your 500lb sack up in the middle, get a four blade prop and then gradually trim the engine up just a little. You wake should be pretty good. It takes a little bit of work to make it perfect. I would say the four blade prop is more important than buying the two other sacks. The four blade gives it a nice peaky wake on both sides. |

k2 mn, its a 19 foot model I believe, and squirrell, thank you very much. Do you know where I can look at getting a four blader? ANy specific type or model that would be good? And I guess I should have mentioned it, but I have an outboard model. SO, if I get those 250's, just as far back as possible, right?
thanks

| Yeah, get the 250's as far back as you can. As for the prop, your local dealer should be able to get it for you at the best price. I would just go with a composite or aluminum. For an outboard, its not worth spending the money for a stainless steel one. If money is no object get the stainless one. It never hurts. Good luck |
