I just got a new oil gauge on the X. What should a normal reading be for the gauge and when should I be concerned?

I have my boat in storage right now so I cant tell you exact readings but when you are idle, it reads a little low untill you give it some gas. I'm a little curious about this topic too. I'm going out next weekend and will keep an eye on it for you. You might want to send a private message to "John Jared" or "JD". They are really cool and they might know off the top of their heads. They also have 02 x-star's.

squirrell,
During Idle mine is usually right in the middle I think 40 and as the revs go up it will also go up.

If it's colder, it might get to like 60, but when engine is warm, oil pressure should be around 40 or so.
