I believe you will have to pull out the seat, then all you should have to do is unplug the wiring/plumbing, detach them from what evers holding them in place and re plumb it to you 700s. Should take a couple hours maybe. _________________

Dees, True.
Nice thing about the San is that the whole rear interior comes out super easy... some bits even have little rubber quick releases to make it easier!
Jibsta, Rip out the partitions round the engine bay... then lift the carpeted floor out that sits on top of the tanks// this will only be held in by the plumbing for the tanks and with persuasion will come out totally undamaged.. just takes a little flexing!
You might then be able to just unplug the tanks and unscrew the few metal brackets that hold them in place..
If you can get them out now.. that would be awesome.. if not its shuffle time.
Go to the cooler seat on the port side, remove the cooler which will reveal 2 bolts.. unscrew them (phillips screwdriver required) and the whole cooler seat will be loose... throw it somewhere...
Then take all 3 seats off the rear bench and screw them... there should be 2 rubber quick release bits which may loosen the whole seat (located either side on the floor each by the battery boxes).. if not there will be a few screws bolted to the engine strut from the rear and the floor... if they exist remove them and the seat will slide forward.
Then slide your tanks out
Will you be covering the tanks again? a flase floor will be tricky as theres no where to mount it as such.. may require a simple frame.
Also, quick note: while down there with the tanks out it may be an idea to give the bilge a really good scrub.. its gets dirty down there and with everything clear you should have easy access.. also check the auto switch on your bilge as they can jam up with debris.... _________________ www.AxisBoats.co.uk | www.Malibu-Boats.co.uk |

Also i dont know if this would work but here me out, Geting 2 smaller maybe 200lb bags and droping them ontop of the tanks so that i connect the overflow and drain line Through the tanks to the bags so im actualy keeping the tanks (ease) and just letting them overflow till they fill the bags. _________________ They know what is what but they dono what is what they just strut. |

Jibsta,
Hmm... When swopping to bags the loss of guages is a problem..
throwing another fill and seperate empty hole on the top of your tanks could work... the guages though would be redundant once you filled the tank.
One problem here is the height of the overflow.. the bags cannot exceed the thru-hull overflows or the bags will never fill and will keep pissing out the water into the lake!
the bags and tank combo will also have to work in series so that the end empty goes from the bag to the hull or you'll have issues...
You know.. cuold be an idea to just get hold of some wedge tanks! _________________ www.AxisBoats.co.uk | www.Malibu-Boats.co.uk |

Brit Rider, Wedges aint enough weight i wanna have at least 500 on each side, the constant pissing could be beat by looping the overflow tube higher then the top of the bags. _________________ They know what is what but they dono what is what they just strut. |

Jibsta, do you mean move the overflow up? or just the pipe?
if you just extend it and put it higher then have the outlet in the same place the laws of syphoning will just let it suck out... you'll go over your wake or throttle down/up and water will rush down the pipe.. and won't stop in my opinion. the top of the bags will simply be too high....
second option - build your own new tanks and just extend the current plumbing to fit them... then throw the false floor over them and keep some storage.
Hows your welding? _________________ www.AxisBoats.co.uk | www.Malibu-Boats.co.uk |
