Is it just me or does it seem like this is the bottleneck for those of us wanting faster ballast fill times?
Anyone know of a company that will custom make bigger fill and drain holes for hi flow pumps.

Liquidmx,
Fly high make custom bags... if you could source the fill/drain parts i guess they might do it.
Its gotta be worth a call....
Never seen anyone offer the bigger than standard waterbed styles fill holes though...

I add thru-hull fittings to sacks, it takes five minutes and works great. Any size works. Cut a small hole and stretch it around the flange of the thru hull fitting, I put some 5200 on the back side of the flange to seal it. Put the nut on with a little 5200 on the bottom of the nut and tighten it up. Go wakeboarding

I imagine no one wants to put anything out that you can't get standard parts for. Yet. Currently, all the pumps, hoses, fittings, and connections to sacks are all easy to find.
Also, I don't think that solely by increasing the size of the hole you will gain a faster fill. Drain without a pump, maybe. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the volume of water going into and out of your sack is more due to the GPH on your pump, not the size of the hole. The pumps are sized to push a certain amount of water through a certain size line. Increase that line and your pumps become less efficient.

I know what you are saying oshensurfer, have you seen the output on a 2000 gph pump? I believe its at least a 1" diameter fitting meaning the 3/4 inch fitting for the bag is the bottleneck of the system.
I am not so concerned about drain time. My goal is to fill up faster so I can enjoy the extra few minutes of butter when the lakes are crowding up in the mornings.

Here's a pic of a 1.125" fitting I added to the back of my Fat Seat using a thru hull fitting.
