has anybody build his own floating boatlift?
I am thinking about that for a few years now and start building one.
any pics of the contruction are welcome. _________________ Waterskischool RiverSide
Why? There are many manufacturers out there with proven designs. Jet Dock makes one, but it is on the pricey side. There are several hydraulic lifts on floats. Airdock makes one with giant bags. I have that one, and personally it works really well.
the cost for a original would exceed my budget,i,ve got plenty of time and think i can build one myself.i am looking for some info what would work best.compressed air or water pumps. _________________ Waterskischool RiverSide
My airdock takes about 5psi of air in the bags to lift my boat. It's not compressed...technically. I have seen the large ones that use pontoons to float and they use a small air pump to displace the water. _________________ Eric
