Board to long?

I just got a new hyperlite scape 116 wakeskate and it seems like it is to long for me. I weigh 166 and i am 5'7'. could anyone tell me if i should get a different board.

SiegleWake06, it's all about feel. If you don't like it, try out something a little smaller and see how it feels. With wakeboarding, size is more comparable to your body-type than wakeskating. In wakeskating, you should do more with what is comfortable to you. Try and demo something else if you can.

The scape 116 is a long skate and not one of the better feeling boards I have ridden. It's great for just carving around, if you want to get into more technical stuff you may want to demo something a little shorter.
