haha, ill love that part too, except ill have to get a parking decal, and since it will be in the middle of the year i dont know if ill be able to get one, so i may still have to take the bus, i dont know. o well, but congrats!

yea here you can buy a decal no matter when you start driving. Although i'm buyin one with only 19 days of school left, and i may not even get to drive all those days, but o well even if i only got to drive to school for one week it'd be worth it. Shoot, it'd be worth it just for exam days

ours is just basically so they can get all ur info, that way when you park where ur not supposed to they can look up ur tag number and find our who u are

ya, well in the parking lot, they have this camera on the top of the school roof, and they zoom in and look at anyone in the parking lot, like my friend went to his car during lunch, and they brought him to the office, and showed him the video of it all zoomed in and everything, but its pretty cool, atleast i know when i do have a car in the parking lot, it will be safe....to atleast some degree

Congrats! Its really exciting to get your license. I got mine in January and I got my car (98 Integra) like 2 weeks later. Its a lot of fun driving and not having to ride the bus or have your parents take you places. At our school we have to have parking permits too, they are free though.

ya, craiggy its basically jsut so the school knows you belong there, and you go to the school, for safety, and for my favorite reason....to make money, lol

You guys are lucky you can park at your school. My school you have to have a permit and you can only be a senior to get one. That costs $100 for the year.

That's gay. I don't need anything to drive to school. Here in montana you get your license at 15 and can drive where ever the hell you want and park there too, free.

Damn...It's $200 for me, and I have to walk really far also. Next year I get to park in the senior lot though, which is very nice. Same price, but no long walk.

hahahahaha thats the funniest thing ever, you have to pay to park at your school, only in america, we can only park in a certain spot but it doesn't cost anything.

congrats on getting your licence, did u get it first go? i can go for mine in august

I got my license back in january. My school charges 50 but if you have a black card or gold card (the people with a 3.0 to 4.0 gpa) you can get it for 25. Each month that goes by they take $5 off or something like that. I only paid $10.

yea our test was easy, Good news, since today started the last month of the school year, today was the first day that was free. And on top of that, i got the very last decal, after that your out of luck

When I was in HS it was $25, but there was a free parking lot that was realllllly far you could park in. Wait till you get to college, it's damn expensive then for a permit.

yeah college parking sucks. permits start at $400 and then you can't even find parking spots. last semester alone i had over $1,000 in parking tickets. also got my truck towed 2 days after i came back from christmas. on top of that we have tons of staff lots that aren't even half-full but only staff can park there. parking here is bullsh*t.

That's a lot of money to park in the school parking lot! I'm glad at our school its free and we can park anywhere except in the teacher and visitor spots. The only thing that sucks at our school is to get out of the parking lot you have to go up the hill and then sometimes you have to stop on the hill and I have a 5-speed and people like pull up on your bumper, so I use my E-brake so I don't roll back and hit them!

i cant wait to get my license, i already know exactly whats on the test to, my mom made me take a driving class with a driving instructor before she would drive with me, let alone go on the highway, lol, but anyways, he took me to exactly where the test is, and told me everything, and told me all the variations of it, and stuff, im set, only till november too

i thougth it would be the same since we are both in florida but i don't know.
First we have to park, then we have to pretend we are parking on a hill since there are no real hills to park on in florida. Then we have to drive down this road, turn left, turn right, quick stop, 3 point turn, back up, then go back to the place

o ok, ours is basically the same thing, except no hill, atleast the driver instructer didnt teach me or tell me about it, we have to park of course, back out, drive (its in the back of a shopping center) go up to 10 mph, then 20, then the person giving the test, will just scream stop, and you have to do it really fast, then back up 50 ft, 3 point turn, and i tihnk thats about it

i think its so dumb that you dont acually go o nthe road, they know you can drive where there are barely any cars, in a shopping center, but how do they know if ya can handle go fast on a highway??? it befuddle's me....ok dont ask y i used that word, its just a cool word, i love it, lol
