|
|
Hey everyone. A while back I saw a post with this boat pictured in it (i believe they said it is an 88 Supra) but was wondering if anyone had any other knowledge about it (model, type of tower & speakers, ect). I think this is a perfect example of making an older boat look good, and exactly what I am looking at buying very soon, or in the spring (early 90s Supra). Or if anyone has any more pictures of it. Thanks! -dustin

I wonder if that's custom paint or a wrap?

The tower is a Boss custom swoop with Boss B-530's and a Boss light bar. I'm not positive its a Supra though. Supras had very distinct windows, especially where they meet the gel. Looks kind of like a California skier or Hydrodyne.

Can they get the wraps to be smooth like gelcoat, or are they kind of rough? Do you have to wax a wrap? What would something like that cost?

cameraboy, dustin, Wraps are done in the same way as commmerical vehicle graphics.
They are pretty smooth but you can feel the edges.
Cost depends on how much material you use and how many colours, if its a one colour its going to be cheaper then having a photograph style print made.
I had some graphics added to the transom and gunnels of my SAN this year in a 3 colour print.. came out a couple of hundred pounds (around 400 bucks) as an idea of cost.... but alot depends on your local printer and if they can swing you a deal.

?? The Broncos barely slipped away from Dallas because their kicker sucks. Please explain how they will beat the colts?

I agree. Pathetic. That is pretty crappy for getting paid a ton in the NFL.

dustin, she's an 88 or 87 Supra Sunsport. Great boat for wakeboarding, you can weight the hell out of it!
Or you can go classic like mine. The first pic is the way she is now. The second is what I am doing to her over winter.
This is the graphic I am puttin on mine, but ignore the black trim, I am not going to do that.

Jay Feely missed a 22 yarder? thought 2 were in the 40s and one in the 50s? I blame Coughlin for settling once they get down field. Its like the 30 or so yard line is fine for him. He has more cofidence in his kicker who missed the game winner then his offense with Eli at the helm(boat term).
