ok heres the situation... i am looking into getting into wakeboarding or wakeskating... the only thing i have for the water is a jetski... i have never wakeboarded or wakeskated before but i have kneeboarded and i waterskied once so i am totally a beginner... now i know that the jetski wont produce much of a wake for the wakeboard but is the wakeskate to hard for me to try to learn right off the bat? pretty much im asking whether i should still get a wakeboard or go for the wakeskate board... anything will help thanks

bballshooter2727, if it were me, I would get a skate. Once you are up, you wont need much of a wake, and you can still have fun learning. Wakeboarding you will progress faster, but if you wake skate combined with skating around on the street, you will be fine. Skates are also cheaper!

learning how to standup on the wakeskate will probably a little bit harder for you since you have never even wakeboarded before but give it a try i'm sure you will like it

The good thing here though is with a jet ski when you go down its faster to set up than a boat for another go at it.

Foote, surprisingly, my wakeboard buddy's little brother was scared to wakeboard because he didnt like the idea of being strapped into it and his brother skates mostly so he asked to try wakeskating one day and we got him up (the next day, first day was close though) before he ever stepped foot into a binding! Weird I know but can definetely be done.
