Hey I am new into wakeboarding and it's something i've always wanted to do. I am Kind of stuck on a first board. I was thinking either a '05 HL Murray or '06 HL Roam. I am about 5'6 and 135-140 lbs. Any advice would be great.

oooooooo do NOT ge the roam, it has no fins and is purely a snowboard on water. you will struggle like a bitch if your not experianced. if you can go down to your local boardshop and ask them to hook you up, but dont just buy a board for the graphics or who's pro model it is, just because they ride it, doesnt mean your going to be as good as them straight away or even ever. but good luck finding a new board.

edit for sp

Dman 2091, definately check out the murray...its a sick board. as far as the roam goes, it is mainly used for rails. for the size board, check out between a 132 and 136. hope this helps....

You might think about the LF Balance. Its a really responsive board with plenty of pop off the wake. The Muray board is a good board, but remember its a directional board so if you like to ride switch a lot, its probably not the board to get. What kind of bindings are you thinking about getting? Anyways, good luck.
