I got bored one day and borrowed my friend's skateboard. I liked it so I built a quarter pipe. I don't own my own skateboard. The shitty one in the pics is my friend's lil bro's from like wal mart or something. I'm bored, so I'm posting pictures.

good stuff for a non skater. its actually more of a bank than a qp. one question tho, if you dont skate, why are your laces different colored?

The last pic in your first post is pretty sick. You should try to find a mini ramp near your house. They are tons of fun to skate, even if your new to it.

I broke my left arm on a frontside boardslide so I stick to flat ground and mini ramps, no rails for me.

I don't see a boardslide in any of those pictures. Looks like mostly nosestalls and backside grinds.

Ctipping, maybe you are doing front boards but i have never met anyone that learned front boards before back boards. most people arent real comfortable with the sliding backwards thing.

Thats why you gotta get an avio or a casablanca editing system for christmas. No computer involved except loading the video onto it from your firewire camera.

frontboards are tons easier on flat rail..they're harder on handrails though.

Ctipping, its an editing system where you firewire it onto the mainframe and edit it all up, load in your music via cd player/mp3 whatever then you finish it (finalizing the music and special effects) then firewire it back onto the camera and then onto the computer. May sound like some extra work but the quality is way better along with more editing options and effects. Movie star style haha.

K-wood Kid, the editing system youre talking about is a computer. its just designed specifically for video editing.

We just built a new mini ramp for the summer, last week, I will try to get some pics soon. I usually skate more the board on the ramps and rails we have now, but now that we have our mini I will be boarding all day.

C, your QP isnt quite a QP but your pics and tricks are awesome!

Question: How many of you have rails and ramps sitting around your house and how many of you just go to a park??

Back when I used to skate I had 2 quarterpipes I made in my backyard with nice smooth concrete inbetween making it a halfpipe pretty much, about 2 10 foot rails one slanted one flat and a funbox that was probobly a foot tall. Skating rocked, until I cracked my tailbone trying to land a bs flip off the side of a 4 foot quarter pipe...lol Very Happy
