They may not be good enough for you, but if you are trying to get a friend into boarding, they'll do just fine. I think this guy has plenty. Clicker boots will work with strap bindings. Just remove the attatched strap and leave the "clickers" on the bottom, no problem. The pair they sent me for my daughter was in near new condition.

Darin, Wait... Explain how clicks can work without click bindings... I don't get it - even with your description of what to do... It doesn't seem to make sense _________________ You say psycho like it's a bad thing... |

Yeah they will work with the strap bindings but will be stiff as hell. If your trying to get him into boarding I'd suggest getting boots that are nice and confortable. As you know having your feet hurt all day on the mountain sucks and it may put him off of it. _________________ Grab some pine meat! |

They are stiff, but when you are strapped in good and tight, your boot is going to be stiff anyway. Part of what make the clicker boots stif is the attached strap that acts like a strap on a binking. You can take that off, then the boot will be just like any other boot. The clicker parts on the bottom are recessed, so they wont interfere with your strap binding. They may be a little stiffer I guess. But I can't imagin that it's going to be alot different. I just with to step ins this year. I HATED strapiong in off the lift. I didn't get the clickers for myself though. |
