Another way to control you tower volume without buying extra controls is to use your fader. If your deck has two sets of RCA's, run the front to the tower amp and the rear to the main amp. If you want the tower louder fade foreward, or fade all the way to the rear to shut down the tower. It's just another way to skin a cat.

I just installed one and it seems to work fine. I got one from the local stereo shop for 20 bucks. Does any one who has installed this have some pointers on getting the best sound. I still have to turn the stereos volume up in the boat to get the tower speakers. Any ideas

I got my fader setup so the back is just the speakers in the boat and the front is the tower speakers, it does the job quite well for those early mornings to keep your neighbors happy

The fader is the best set up. If I was going to use a seperate control I would go with the PAC LC-1.
