yeah, I think it's really gay too. Plus I don't think that people want more stress on their towers. I mean we already have lights, speakers and tow rope. More stress could mean more fractures. Plus how does anybody know if this thing really does what it is supposed to. I doubt that a boat going at wake speed is going to create enough downforce using that wing to make a bigger wake.

I think it is 100% gimick and even if it worked I still wouldn't put it on my boat it is ugly as hell.

That wing is totally retarded. I don't know why people are ripping on the "Stiffy Tower" though. I actually think it's a good idea. A combination of wakeboarding and cableboarding...high pull and a wake.

The only problem is that you'd need really calm air to use the thing or else the boat would be blown all over the place.

I call BS on this whole wing thing. That tower in the picture looks like it is about 3 feet wide. The rope eye is facing down. In addition, not being an aeronotical engineer, but I would think the wing would face the other direction.

If it is for real. I will be man enough, because I'm comfortable with sexuality and I really don't care what people think. If the manufacture would like send me one for demo and then report to this site in an unbiased format, I'll put one my tower and give it a shot. If it makes the wake bigger/better whatever, so be it!

I think if it folded down it would be better. That way you could fold it down and use it for a picnic table, and invite all the neighbors around to get on your new table.
I wonder if the designer of this wing drives a Neon too. Maybe he got the idea from the Fast and the Furiously Stupid. Yo, check the laptop to make sure you intake manifold isn't over tweek'd and that your floor boards aren't about to fly off.
This guy needs to add NOS to his boat and call it a day.
Cook up some sausage and lets have a picnic.

Johnny G, it looks like it should be facing the other because from what i recall in the ad it is on a really gay wierd reverse kinda tower.

I think everyone agrees that it would look extremly dumb on a boat. So the issue would become would it work? Even if the thing was put on the right way it wouldn't generate hardly any down force. Consider this, open wheel race cars such as CART, INDY or F1 generate up to 1500 lbs at 200mph!!!! And they have many aerodynamic features that generate that downforce not just wings, so what would that thing do at 20mph? I personally like the posts saying to use it as a solar cooker...bring out the brauts! Wink
