What is the "are" to your name? I assume you mean area?

Who are you guys going through for the shirts? Independant company? Check with your school, they probably have a contract with a company that will make you T-shirts, and they have graphic artists that will help you out.

wakerider07, You never know, and what you can do is give them pictures of what you want incorperated into the logo, and they draw it up.

For example, our HS mascot was a Titan. We had specific ideas on what we wanted it to look like, and basically made a list. Unfortunately in the end we had to throw it our because our principal was a moron and cried sexism.

Anyway, you better check with admin anyways. If the school does have a contract, you might be in some hot water by going to a independant company.

I'm sorry but those are all pretty lame. You gotta come up with a pic of a Mustang shredding the gnar or something equally cool. Go onto Photoshop and explore the million fonts they have on there, you'll get something cool.

Here's ours. On a Navy shirt with Silver writing it looks sick. We have the logo on the front and the wording on the bottom right side at a sharp angle.

I didn't know mustangs had only 3 legs! But as for the back I think it'd look really cool to do the messy splatter paint font for the MAWC... Liquid force uses it for some shirts and stuff and it looks good.

and you have no idea on doing anything graphic.....nor artistic. Every "artist" does some reasearch on what u want them to do. thats what they get paid for. i suggest u give a graphic artist a try before you waste your money printing those microsoft paint logos.

ralc, there are alot of people on here who are very good graphic artists and already know about wakeboarding so why not try here first to get some ideas?

Beurgday, lets see what you can do!

you are right bro...its just that my girlfriend is a graphic designer and she has done some cool sh*t on things she has no idea about....like motorcycles and tools!. just tell any artist what you want, give him some wakeboarding magazines show him/her a few companies like churnwakewear, nofearwake, ect..and im sure he/she will come up with a couple of things. then post them here and well help u decide.

go to foot locker, buy those t shirts that are like 6 for 20 bucks....then go to staples and buy some iron ons (the good ones) theya are like 7 bucks for 10, then have each person put a pic of them riding and the name of the club somewhere. Cheap, but if its done correctly it could be clean. I do this all the time but with other designs that aren't related to wakeboaring.

We pressed 150 shirts and it comes to less than $6 per shirt. Your school should have a computer with PS on it. I suck at PS but we were able to screw around with it and make something we were happy with. For some reason it looks two tone above, strange. Good luck. Figure out PS it will be worth your while in the long run.

Hey guys for our shirts we have a small logo on the frnot of the shirt like where the little pocket would go and it has a mustang (kingwood mustangs) and then on top bending around the picture it says kingwood and below says wakeboarding and on the back is has this pic and up near the neck centered is says Got Wake?

ehh pic isn't on this computer but I'll edit this post with the picture sometime soon.

David Hoff, Could you post instuctions on how to do something like that? I kinda suck with PS but I've got Elements 6.0 so I think I've got the software; I just need to learn how to use it. I want to do something like for a few different organizations I'm part of.

Where did you get the pic?

ballywho, Well just for the silhouette part, I got the picture off of a gallery on WakeWorld...The background was plain enough for me to just select and then cut it away until it was only the rider. Then I just seleted the whole rider and filled it in with black. Thats kind of the quick and easy way to do it, but it works fine for starters...Then the text, I just downloaded it from some website and put it in...Then I took a picture of Texas, made it into a brush, and just stamped it once, then took a pre-set shape and put it where Houston would be on the map. The picture I made above was only around a 10 step process, so It's pretty quick/easy to do...

Go talk to an activities coordinator/sponsor of ASB (a teacher) they will help you out with anything you need. But basically your going to have to write a "constitution" which will include what your club is all about, how much money you need, how many members you are expecting, and how it relates to academics. Present it to ASB officers and committee, they will vote on whether they want to fund you or not.

But make sure to talk to admin first. This is something I didn't do. I went up and presented my club, and was shot down by the sponsor, claiming it wasn't educational. I went all the way to the school board with it... got shot down there too.

Yeah, there was pretty much nothing I could do to convince them. They wouldn't let me start a ski/snowboard club either.

Saying that the school board was making the youth of the city obese probably didn't help.

Laughing Just kidding.
