The tower takes a good while to install.. not much you can do to get round this.
One tip would be to buy a quality Cobalt or similar drill bit. the ones they send are ok for the first hole but they will blunt out pretty quick...
Also, if you get some duck tape you can put the tower together and get the tape to hold it rather than using the bolts etc... this will allow you to see what the finished products gonna look like before you start drilling!
Just take a sunny day and take your time! _________________ www.AxisBoats.co.uk | www.Malibu-Boats.co.uk |

They go on pretty easy. I did mine basicly by myself in about 10Hrs. If you have help. you should be able to easily do it in a day. The biggest part of my time I think was laying out the holes and getting the balls to drill the first ones. Besure to measure 5 times and drill once.
I actually did mine in a different sequence of what the istructions called for and it worked out pretty good.
I laid out my front legs first in the location where I thought it would work best, which happened to be on top. I made sure they were symetrical and then drilled them and mounted the feet.
I assembled the 2 front legs and mounted them on.
I slipped them in the upper crossmember and ran a rope fom the bow to the cross member and tied it into place. From here I was able to adjust the slope to more or less match my windshield and see how High it was going to be.
I leveled the crosmember with the boat and took a couple 2x4's and cut them to the right length to brace it in this position. Also be sure to center the cross member at this time
With everything level and braced you can slip the back legs in with the feet attached and swing them into the 42"-48" range or whatever it was that the specify. this way you can see if the angles and the widths work for you.
At this point I put on the side braces to really lock it down, gave everything another dimensional/ level check once or twice and started drilling.
Hope this helps. _________________
