So i've been wakeboarding for two years, and i bought a tower for my boat this past summer, it's a 18 foot bayliner and with the extra weight of the tower and the trim up i can a pretty good sized wake. But i still can't seemed to get to much height off the water, tops like 5 feet. My board right now is a begginers board, an obrien with a continous rocker. I was just wondering how much getting a 3 stage rocker(any kind) would help in getting me some more ups. I've been looking at the Liquid force subjekt. Also any other tips in getting some good height would be greatly apreciated.

I don't notice much of a difference between 3 stage and cont. That's just me and I've only been riding for around 3 years.

Do you have any sacs in the boat? If not, get a few hundred lbs of ballast weight to make your boat ride deeper. You displace more water and have a bigger wake. Sacs are a great investment for wakeboarding.

How's your form? Your body position has a lot to do with your pop. Are you standing tall at the top of the wake, and are your hips forward?

The Subjekt is a good board from all that I hear.

WachoZacho, like CHiLi DaWg stated: Fat sacs and form. There are plenty of pro boarders that rip with a cont rocker man. A great investment, is the side sacs that you see. 2 for like 180 I believe. Throw one up front, and one in the ski locker, and sit your riders evenly around your boat. The two sacs combine should be somewhere in the neighbor hook of 500 to 550 lbs of good solid weight. On your I/o, you want to weight it from the front to rear to offset the heavy motor in the rear!
