| russell21, yessir! You don't need to go huge to flip and spin.

| Looks like you'll be fine for learning a hs/ts fs 360 and possibly a tantrum or a backroll. With inverts, it's not usually the height you can get on a straight air that counts, It's the edge and release off the wake. Choose one of the moves you think you can do and work on it.

I guess I have one question, why do you have slack in the line on a HS Indy grab????????
Cuz you are not loading the line properly and not using a progressive edge.
You are either pumping the wake like a snowboarder or you are flattening out right before the wake and getting bucked into the air.
IMO - Honestly now, I'm not tryn to be a joker.... I would think you need a bit more height in order to even get a handle pass off in time. If you did try to pull a 3 with that jump technically you would have nothing to pull against, you have no line load.
Just keeping it real.
The guys above are right you do not need a lot of air to spin or flip but you do need a good edge and proper release off the wake.
IMO - you should not be generating slack like that on a HS Indy grab and that's good indicator something else is off.

Before I need to start defending myself, I do agree the slack is minimal but it's there non the less.

That's plenty of height for a 360. I can do an ollie 360 in the flats. With no tower you're going to struggle with inverts probably. It's definitely possible but your technique has to be perfect.

Wakebrad, I hear you, I do them off rollers all the time. So you and I both know we spin those much faster than the W2W version.
I just don't think with that height or lack of for that matter he will be able to go W2W.
Every crash I took learning the W2W 3 many years ago was landing backwards casing or clipping the second wake!

| you can definitely learn 3's, 5's, and a whole array of inverts with that wake and line length and what not... all it takes is good technique. i learned to spin w2w 3's and 5's with that much height at 55ft... you dont have to worry about casing the wake, so you can really concentrate on your edging/take off and the other stuff. do a search on the forum here and read through some posts on tricks you want to try.

| That's enough height for spins, but probably not for inverts. Might I suggest you learn all your 180's before trying the 3? The 3 will come a lot faster if you have your 1's down first.

inverts will probably be a struggle, but it's plenty of height for w2w 180's and 360's. it's not uncommon for people to do ollie 360's...

Little unfair critisism on one photograph i think. the boat is curving a little which may give you a loss of tension after what would be the peak.
Post a vid?

J_DOGG, People can throw 3's off flat. I think with that height it should work. I too was getting about that when I tried my first tantrum and came very close to landing it. More height wouldn't be too necessary, unless you were doing a raley...

| You dont need any more height for an invert than a w2w 3. I can do a w2w 3 behind my malibu easily but its in the shop right now so Im back to my unweighted towerless I/O with a similiar wake to yours. This weekend I went out and tried frontrolls. (Never landed one) and should have landed it. I think I needed even less height than a 3. I didnt even try a 3 because I knew I wouldnt be able to get it around. I was only getting about 2.5 feet of air (from bottom of the board) on my TS jumps/ frontroll attempts. As long as you have good technique, you can get an invert behind your wake. Ive seen people like Northwestrider do tantrums (bel airs) in the flats and other people do backrolls and R2Rs going out of the wake. Its all in technique.
