Sacramento Delta Riders

Hey all,
I'm grew up in Sacramento & I'll be out there in a week or so, the 16th through the 18th visiting family, etc.
I've been dreaming about riding the famous Delta and am wondering if it's worth it to try and find a pull while I'm there.

How's the water temp in Oct? I'm used to kayaking down the american river near Tahoe which is basically snow melt so I know I can handle some cold water.
Anyone down for giving my wife and I a pull while we're there? I dont think the wifey will want to get in the cold water but I sure will! We're not too hardcore of riders & this has been our first full summer of wakeboarding but we can definitely hold our own. Of course we'll hook up gas money, etc.
